Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, family, fraternal organization founded in 1882 by Fr. Michael McGivney and a group of Catholic men with the goal of providing security for the widows and orphans of parishes.
The Knights of Columbus are Catholic men living by the principles of charity, unity and fraternity; informed by faith. We strive to live our faith and our principles at home, in our parish, in our workplace and in our community. All the men of the parish are urged to consider joining the Knights’ chapter at St. Gabriel. The Knights provide essential support, assistance, and community building efforts year-round, especially during the holiday season.
The St. Gabriel the Archangel Council serves the parish and the larger community by addressing pro-life issues, needs of mentally challenged children, social activities within the parish, and Adopt-a-Highway. Membership is open to all Catholic men 18 years of age and older.
