Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)

Have you ever experienced a longing in your heart that you couldn’t explain, or a nagging feeling that you were made for something more? If so, then perhaps God is calling you to follow Him more intimately as a Catholic.

The Catholic Church continues to serve millions of people each year by answering their important questions, and guiding them in their pursuit of an authentic and enduring happiness.

We invite you to come, encounter Jesus Christ, the Church He founded, and discover an answer to the longing only He can satisfy.

To become Catholic, a person goes through a four-part process called the OCIA. OCIA stands for the “Order of Christian Initiation of Adults”. In OCIA, adults are introduced gradually into the beliefs, worship, and life of the Christian. Each participant has a sponsor, a fully initiated Catholic, to walk him/her through this process.

Our OCIA is a year round program. To better meet the needs of the community, we offer a daytime session and an evening session.

Thursday: 6:00pm - 7:45pm
Monday: 9:30am - 11:00am
